3C0 - ANNOBON ISLAND, AF-039: Elmo,EA5BYP, will hit the airwaves as 3C0M in SSB on 80-10m, in RTTY on 20-15m and in CW on 160m for 15 days starting on Oct 20. He will use two transceivers, a linear, one yagi and dipoles and wrote that he was working very hard to obtain the appropriate permissions from the different authorities since 2004.
3W - VIETNAM : Starting on Oct 11 Shim,XV3AA/3W3A, can be found working on 20m between 2330 and 0030 UTC for the next few weeks. QSL via JA6UHG.
4N - MONTENEGRO: Toby,DD5FZ, plans to work from the location of YT6A signing 4N6FZ in SSB from Oct 15-27 (including WAG and WWDX SSB contests). Which dates and which location he can use hast to be cleared down there. QSL via DD5FZ, via bureau.
5W - WESTERN SAMOA, OC-097 : Willy,ON5AX, and XYL Magda,ON3AX, will start their Pacific trip as 5W0AX in CW/SSB/PSK on 20/30/40m from Oct 17-22.
7Q - MALAWI: Harry,G0JMU, will be QRV again as 7Q7HB in CW/SSB on 80/40/20/15/10m from October until the mid of January 2007. He will use a 2 ele Quad and a dipole for 20/15/10m an an Inverted V for 80/40m. May be he can realise also to work on 6m and 160m. QSL via G0IAS.
9H - MALTA, EU-023: Jo,DL5AUA, will be QRV as 9H3JC near the GIORDAN lighthouse (MLT 003) on Gozo Island (EU-023). He will work with 100 watts and wires in CW/SSB on all bands between Oct 23 and Nov 2. QSL via DL5AUA.
A3 - TONGA: After visiting both Samoas (see above) ON5AX and ON3AX will show up from Tonga as A35AX from Nov 2-14.
EA6 - BALEARIC ISLANDS, EU-004: Helmut,EA6/DL5DSM, plans to work especially in CW on 160/80m during his holidays on Mallorca (EU-004) from Oct 16-24. QSL via DL5DSM, buro QSLs can be requested via e-mail to: dl5dsm@online.de
EA6 - BALEARIC ISLANDS, EU-004 : EA6/DK3DUA will be active on 80-6m with wire antennas from Oct 15-22. QSL also via bureau.
EA8 - CANARY ISLANDS, AF-004: Stephan,EA8/DK3TNA, is activating Teneriffa (AF-004/LH-1276) in SSB on 80-15m with 100 watts and verticals in the evenings of Oct 7-12. QSL via DK3TNA, direct or via bureau.
FH - MAYOTTE ISLAND, AF-027: Serge,F6AML, can be heard as TX6A from AF-027 with a loud signal in CW/SSB on 80-10m until Oct 17. QSL via F6AML, direct or bureau.
FO - FRENCH POLYNESIA: Pierre,FO/F5JFU, will visit three islands between Oct 21 and Nov 19: Tahiti (OC-O42), Moorea (OC-046) and Bora-Bora (OC-O67). He intends to work with 100 watts and verticals/wires in CW/SSB and perhaps also RTTY on 20/15/10m (possibly also on 40m) every evening. QSL via F5JFU, via the REF bureau or direct (SAE+IRC).
FS - ST MARTIN, NA-199: Yan,FS5HL, was active from NA-199 until Oct 8.
HL - SOUTH KOREA, AS-093: Han,DS2GOO, Son,DS3HWS, Lee,6K2CEW, and a few more OPs will activate the island Hong (AS-093) as .../4 and D90HE/4 from Oct 13-15. Emphasis will be put on SSB on 80-10m but also digital modes like FSK or PSK31. QSLs for D90HE/4 via DS2GOO, all others via their homecalls. See also: http://myhome.naver.com/dxer2han/as_093
HR - HONDURAS: Andrei,EW1AR/NP3D, Boris,UU5SY/N3SY (ex KC2FVN), Alex,K2PAL (exUB5XAZ), Joel,KB2PDW, Javier,HR2J, and more HR OPs are going to visit the island Tigre (NA-060) as HQ4?? from Oct 22-25. After that they plan to become QRV from the mainland in CW/SSB/RTTY on 6-80m using different calls until Oct 30 (including the WWDX SSB). QSL via W3HNK.
J3 - GRENADA, NA-024: Bill,VE3EBN, is planning an activity as J37LR/J37T in CW/SSB/PSK31 on all bands between Oct 19 and Nov 26.
KH8 - AMERICAN SAMOA: ON5AX and ON3AX continue their trip through the Pacific as KH8/ON5AX from Oct 24-29 (incl. WWDX SSB Contest).
OA - PERU: Arno,OA7/DL1CW, will stay in Peru from Oct 20-30. He intends to become QRV during the WAG contest and plans four days in Puerto Maldonado, three days in Cuzco and one day at Lake Titicaca. He is working only in CW on 80-10m using 100 watts and dipoles. QSL via DL1CW.
PJ2 - NETHERLAND ANTILLES, SA-006: Arno,PJ4/DL1CW, will be QRV again from Bonaire (SA-006) only in CW on 80-10m from Nov 2-8. QSLs only via the DARC bureau.
PJ2 - NETHERLAND ANTILLES, SA-006: Andy,PJ4/W9NJY, plans to show up from Bonaire (SA-006) from Oct 20-31. He will work mainly in CW on 40-10m, but also some SSB and digital modes. QSL via WD9DZV.
T32 - EAST KIRIBATI, OC-024: KE5EUL and WB6NDA are working as T32GW near 14275 kHz from Oct 3-10. QSLs via homecalls, CBA.
T32 - EAST KIRIBATI, OC-024: T32Z has been announced to hit the airwaves in CW/SSB on the WARC bands from Christmas Island (OC-024) from Oct 10-20. QSL via K3PD.
T6 - AFGHANISTAN: John,KE6GFF, can be found working as T6EE often around 14200 kHz until Oct 30. QSL via KE6GFF, preferably via bureau.
VU7 - LACCADIVE ISLANDS, AS-011: The NIAR DXpedition as VU7RG has been re-scheduled and shall now take place from Dec 1-10. Please check also their website: http://www.vu7.in
XF4 - REVILLA GIGEDO ISLANDS, NA-030: A German/Mexican team with Joe,DF7TH, Karl,DK2WV, Hans-Juergen,DL1YFF, Gerhard,DJ5IW, Dietmar,DL3DXX, Juergen,DL8LE, Ismael,XE1AY,Saul,XE1FXM, Fabian,XE1FRF, Daniel,XE1FXF, Parcival,XE1HBU, Margarito,XE1MMB, Rafael,XE1GRR, Victor,XE1FXZ, Yuri,XE1UN, and Hector,XE2K, will be QRV from Socorro Island (NA-030) signing XF4DL between Oct 17 and Nov 3. They intend to work in CW/SSB/digital modes (like RTTY and PSK63), via EME and via satellites. QSLs for North America via N6AWD, rest of the world via DL9NDS. XU - CAMBODIA: The OH4AB Pieksamaen Amateur Radio Club plans a DXpedition to Cambodia from Oct 20 until Nov 5. Retu,OH4MDY, will be on the air as XU7MDY and Anni,OH4JGE, as XU7JGE working in CW on 10-160m, QRGs: 1825, 3507,7003, 10104, 14007, 21007, 24897 and 28020 kHz. QSLs only direct via XU7MDY (QRZ.com).
ZL - NEW ZEALAND: Willy,ON5AX, and his XYL Magda,ON3AX, are going to finish their Pacific trip as ZL/ON5AX between Nov 16 and Dec 14.
ZL8 - KERMADEC ISLAND, OC-039: Around Oct 10 the Braveheart shall land on Kermadec Island bringing an American team to operate for 7 days.
PACIFIC TOUR: Larry,N0UU, has left Kansas on Oct 12 to visit several rare islands. He plans to become QRV from Makatea on Oct 15, from Fakarava on Oct 16, from Raroia on Oct 17, from Pukarua on Oct 19, from Mangareva on Oct 20 from Henderson on Oct 23 and last not least from Ducie on Oct 24. He ist still waiting for his Easter Island license for Oct 27 and plans to take part in the WWDX SSB Contest for one night. From Tahiti he will sign FO/N0UU and on Ducie Island VP6UU. Larry is working in SSB around 21290 or 14215 kHz (5-15 up) and also on 17m. QSLs are sent via the ARRL bureau. SOUTH ATLANTIC TOUR: Mike Gloistein,GM0HCQ/MM, is on a ship near South Georgia (VP8/sg). They need a calm sea to land on Bird Island, an exact date is not predictable. He may show up then as VP8SGK during the evening hours. QSL for VP8SGK via GM0HCQ.
